After a challenging early life, I struggled for years to find my right path. Though I held different jobs, something still felt missing. I wanted more meaning and to help others through difficulties.
When I was made redundant, I saw it as an opportunity for change. I explored counselling training programs and felt deeply drawn to this compassionate work. As COVID arrived, I took the leap and began training as a counsellor.
Part of my training included supporting those struggling with substance addiction as well as their loved ones. I completed an in-depth course on alcohol and drug counselling, including family systems work.

Additionally, I gained experience helping older adults with grief, loss, and loneliness during an Age UK placement. These opportunities built my ability to compassionately guide people through some of life's toughest challenges.
I'm now blessed to have my own private practice where I can support my community through in person, online and telephone counselling. Having grown up locally, I understand rural life and the unique struggles it brings. My goal is to create a warm, down-to-earth space for anyone seeking inner wisdom - just as I found through my own journey.
I offer a warm, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood and free to explore what’s going on for you. Through my own journey, I’ve come to value the importance of having a safe space to pause, reflect and reconnect with your own inner wisdom.
